It’s not all creation for the Ravellenic Games, and here I have four projects that got taken apart and rolled back into nice neat yarn cakes.
The Olympics and Ravellenic Games are officially started, and I’m off to a running start! I just finished my first WIPs Dancing entry by finishing up a Man Hat that is a late Christmas gift for my buddy Nestor.
It’s almost time for the Olympics and the Ravellenic Games! I’m so excited, here’s what I’ll be working on.
I’m participating in the current KAL at my LYS, and we’re knitting a lovely long cardigan called Cassis!
My first pair of socks are done! I used the Spot Check stitch pattern and the Lifestyle Toe Up formula to make them, and I’m pretty proud of the results.
Can I just say that I love the Wabbit Season hat? It’s so clever, with it’s little ear flap pockets and everything! And, for the record, pompoms make me crazy happy!
I’m making a sweater, because we haven’t already seen me fail at large item knitting! This one is going much more smoothly though, and I actually have hope of finishing it in the near-ish future.
I think that hats may be one of my favorite items to knit. They’re usually pretty quick, and there’s a hat for just about every occassion. I especially love winter hats, because it’s a free license to be ridiculous(ly awesome!).
