This week I did a test knit of some adorable tulip fair isle fingerless mitts. They knit up quickly and are pretty comfy in Knit Picks Palette.
After an embarrassing three years, I finished my fair isle hat. I really love it!
I finished up my Ishbel, and like everything else knit in Malabrigo anything, it’s gorgeous and soft, mmm!
I made a 241 Tote for my mom. I think it turned out super cute! She picked the fabrics on her own, the prints are from Joel Dewberry’s Notting Hill line.
I made my new favorite bag out of amazing fabric, then made a zipper pouch with the leftover fabric. The bag is amazing, but the pouch and I are not on speaking terms at the moment.
I test knitted the Grete Mitts, and really like the pattern!
I made some Brick Patch Coasters with my brand new Brother sewing machine. And, I learned how to sew on quilt binding!
This is the quickest I’ve ever knit a pair of socks, I finished in just two weeks! These were a fun knit, with a pretty lace cuff and simple ribbed foot.
There was never a WIP post for these, since they knit up so quickly, but I want to show off my very first knitted baby items. One of my friends from high school just had a baby boy, so I made some booties and a hat for him!
Summer Flies makes a lovely shawl with a cute picot edge that takes twenty bajillion years to bind off. Malabrigo Silky Merino is a great yarn. Also, my office has a view of the lake. That is all!
