My favorite thing about getting to test patterns is how it makes me do something new and also makes me sit down and sew when I’m too busy otherwise, haha. I had so much fun making this one! Miles has needed some new shirts, and I’ve had this retro-inspired knit from Raspberry Creek Fabrics in my stash for what feels like forever. When I got the chance to test this classic ringer tee, I knew this print would be perfect!
This is the Raider Ringer from Patterns for Pirates, and I love how the finished shirt turned out. It’s the kind of classic style that still works, you know? The cute stripe down the sleeves is such a simple touch, but it really makes the whole shirt pop!
The fabric, of course, is fantastic—Raspberry Creek Fabrics always delivers. The retro print is fun without being too loud, and the jersey was super easy to work with as always.
Anyway, I’m so happy with how this one turned out! I’d love to hear what you think—does the stripe down the sleeves make it feel a little extra, or is it just right? And how fun is that print!? Also, I just can’t believe how big this boy is getting, I’m not ready!
