Oh boy, if we thought having one baby kept me too busy to blog reliably, what is happening with two?! Truth be told I’ve been sewing in my spare time, which on one hand gives me stuff to show off, but on the other hand, what is time? Anyway, I’ll try to be better!
If you haven’t heard elsewhere, earlier this year I had a beautiful baby girl. My little man turned two and is the funniest, cleverest dude around. They keep me on my toes for sure and my heart could just burst with love.
On the crafty side of things, my goal is for Zoe to be wearing a handmade outfit for all of her monthly photos for the first year. So far I’m 4 for 4 (well.. 5/5 if we also want to count her ‘welcome to the world’ photo).
Yea, let’s count that one! May I present the lovely Zoe!
This little outfit (I made the hat and pants) gave me a lot of grief, as it was one of my first attempts at garments with knit fabric and I had a lot to learn! These are free patterns from Patterns for Pirates and are really beginner friendly.
That’s all for today, but I’ll be back again soon to catch you all up on the next 4 outfits I made her (they keep getting better and better), and some stuff I’ve made for Miles recently!
