Amazingly, I found out about a fair isle class happening shortly after I posted about wanting to learn fair isle. I took it as a sign from the gods and signed up. I’m making a hat!

After sitting in my queue for over a year, I finally buckled down and knit my Ishbel, and boy do I love it!
Since I no longer have my original 198 Yds of Heaven shawlette, I’m making a new one for myself! This one is made out of Tosh Vingate, in Tart, and I will fight anybody that tries to get this one from me!
My Geodesic Cardigan (which I will never speak of again after today) is finally finished! It was truly the project from down below.
Tuesday was my Pod’s birthday, and the standing tradition is that I bake him cupcakes for his birthday, because he doesn’t like birthday cake. This year, I took his love for the microcake, and his love for snickerdoodle cupcakes, and mashed them into yummy snickerdoodle cupcakes!
I’m making Ishbel out of Malabrigo Sock! The fabric feels great, but the yarn ball decided to vomit.
One day, I’ll be brave enough to tackle a full on fair isle project, including the design portion. That day is not any time soon, but some day!
Items are loved and admired when they’re cast on and cast off, but they’re rarely talked about again later. Here’s some oldies but goodies, and their current fate.
They’ve said that chaos breeds creativity. I’m living proof of this statement! My workspace is an organized disaster (hey, I know where everything is!), and as soon as I clean it, I get confused.
