Knitting Needle Roll

I knit a lot of small round things. Because of this, I have a ton of double pointed knitting needles. That’s a lot of little things to keep track of! I also have a bad habit of leaving knitting needles all over the place. So, I decided to make a knitting needle roll! I followed along with Multicrafty’s knitting needle case tutorial and really liked it. The only problem I had was that if you follow her exact directions for spacing your lines for the pockets, they wind up  being off center. Now I know for the next one I make.

So now all my knitting needles are nicely organized, and I have better luck finding the one I need when I want it. This is a win win situation, and I had a chance to indulge the sewing bug with a short project.

The fabric makes me SUPER happy, I think it’s adorable. I got it at JoAnn’s, and I have a ton. I think I might make a sewing pattern pocket thing with it, too. I saw a cool one at the local sewing machine shop, I’ll have to see if they have a pattern.
